Information and Advice

Hackney

Until July of 2004, TCCA operate one of London’s most successful Turkish Speaking Information and Advice projects operating under the quality mark, and maintain extremely good links with the pensions service, local authorities, immigration office and voluntary sector. The project operated four days a week, with weekly client figures exceeding 50. Unfortunately due to council cutbacks and the organisations financial commitments to the renovation of 628-630 Green Lanes, had to close the service. However it is hoped that this service will be partly reinstated from April 2005.

Enfield

In November of 2004 TCCA acquired the management on behalf Enfield Community Services the Enfield Turkish Speaking Information and Advice service. The service provides 25 clients a day with general advice on access to benefits and services. The project operates from Edmonton Portacabins on Thursdays.
